In a crowded central square, Ekpedeftiria Bouga and IEK Orizon celebrated Christmas . A celebration which has been done over the past 15 years. The meeting point was the central square of Kalamata, where under the Christmas tree , a great celebration with songs, games and festive treats for everyone, took place!
On this sweet winter night, children , their parents, teachers, students and teachers of IEK Orizon and many residents of Kalamata filled the central square of the city with Christmas songs,decorations, crafts, toys, and delicious food prepared by the IEK Orizon students. The money raised during this celebration went to the Eliza Child Abuse Foundation.
Young and old took part in Christmas games in the square and had fun, danced, made Christmas ornaments and took them home to decorate their tree. Everyone could taste warm pumpkin soup with smoked pork and for dessert chocolate mousse made from scratch!
We saw samples of the work done at IEK Orizon and we all enjoyed the handmade chocolate butter cookies that were offered. Like every year, the Christmas treat offered was a warm festive flavored wine made by the students.
