“On Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019, 5th year primary school students attended a seminar on ” First Aid- Basic Knowledge”, organized by the Greek Red Cross. The aim of the program was to inform students about first aid and to train them to develop skills:
– Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation,
– emergency response (such as drowning),
-emorrhages and rhinorrhea,
– musculoskeletal injuries and wounds
-and be able to evaluate and manage daily situations.
The training program consisted of a theoretical and experiential representation of an event in which the students had the opportunity to participate actively. The children have received valuable insights into their daily lives and we look forward to similar actions next year. ”
