Our little Pre-schoolers visited Dr. Psonis’ veterinary as part of their lesson about “professions”.
They interviewed the vet and he ,in turn, showed them around -the recovery room, the operating theatre, the examination room.
Our little “Journalists” were impressed by the huge scale, the microscope and the surgical equipment. They even examined a “patient’s” ears and eyes and listened to its heart beat.
In the end, they sang a song and thanked the doctor by offering him craftwork they had already prepared.
We all had a wonderful time and what our children kept from this visit was how important it is to love and care for the animals.
