Carnival games, crafts and songs filled our school with color and liveliness. The children have revived traditional Greek carnival customs from various parts of Greece, squandered in the big barbecues by eating souvlaki with pork meat and playing traditional team games.
They revived the custom of “Clean Monday” by eating meatless products and flying kites while the parade with carnival costumes also took place. The students of the Primary School presented the “Vlachiko wedding” (Greek custom where men dressed in women and vice versa) and danced traditional dances.
The annual fancy dress party of our school was held at Elite City Resort and was a blast!!
