3rd Rhetorical Games of the University of Peloponnese

The 3rd Rhetorical Games of the University of Peloponnese were conducted on the three day period 2-4 March 2018, with the participation of 7 secondary schools, 1 interscholastic group (8 secondary schools in total) and 12 high schools. Among them were the students of our school’s Free Expression and Arguments Club, who took part in both individual and team contests, achieving important victories.

Individual Contests for Secondary Schools

-Spontaneous Speech for Secondary Schools: Finals: Konstantinos Ksirogiannis

-Hortatory Speech for Secondary Schools: Finals: Aggelina Andrianou (2nd place)

All 3 High School students who participated in Individual Contests qualified for the finals.

Individual Contests for High Schools

-Spontaneous Speech for High Schools: Finals: Dimitra Makleod (3rd place), Ioanna Tasiopoulou

-Hortatory Speech for High Schools: Finals: Thaleia Andrianou (2nd place)

Our school also took place in the Double Speeches Contests, represented by a secondary school’s team and a high school’s team.

Double Speeches

Secondary School: 1st place (Aggelina Andrianou, Apollon Karalis, Konstantinos Ksirogiannis, Giorgos Ntagiopoulos)

High School: 4th place (Thaleia Andrianou, Ioanna Tasiopoulou, Dimitra Makleod, Aggeliki Moira-Aksiotopoulou, Elpida Margeli)

The High School’s team that qualified for the final four will represent the Region of Peloponnese at Panhellenic Rhetorical-Arguments Games “ANTILOGIES” (5-6 May, Athens), along with the teams who won the first three places.
